Hello I am a mother of two children and I am working hard to become a full time stay at home mom. I love my two children and plan to home school them both so that they can have to best education and not be afraid or intimidated in public school. The state that we live in is not very caring about the education factor. I am very determined to make my home business work and I will. I like to write stories and many of my friends have told me that I should try to publish however my biggest draw back is that I fear rejection and I believe that this is why I have not made a huge success of my home business. I am part of cafemom and I enjoy talking and making friends.

I feel for you on the rejection part as I am exactly the same way. One of the best things I have come across was Tyra Banks show "America's Top Model". I must admit it is a guilty pleasure once in a while. On the show Tyra mentions becoming 'fierce' when she had to model something she was uncomfortable with. I myself have had to realize that I am a child of God and I'm worthy of everything...in other words 'fierce' in my convictions and to take action. What rejection may or may not come is not up to me nor will it be, if I do nothing. You need to find what works for you and become 'fierce' and take action to let the chips fall where they may. If you fail...fail brilliantly. Make a notebook of all your rejections and show them with pride. Some of my favorite authors mentioned they received over 20 rejection notices or more...it just takes one acceptance to promote yourself as the author you know you are.

I'm learning this very thing as I am trying to promote my business. I KNOW I need to make call-backs however I too fear the rejection. I need to go ahead, pick up the phone and succeed or fail, do it brilliantly. I wish you the best and WHEN you are published, let us know so we can support you by buying your books.
